A first-set victory put the Chaps in motion, but visiting Milwaukee Area Tech roared back in their 3-1 win in N4C play Wednesday night.

The Chaps, now 4-15 and 2-2 N4C, travel to Brenham, Texas, this weekend when they participate in the Blinn College Tournament.

Natalie Payne had 17 kills and 20.5 points for the match (25-19, 25-27, 21-25, 19-25), and
Brili Presbrey 12. Both
Halyn Balon and
Mikayla Wassell had seven kills apiece.

Setter Melody Racies set up 40 kills and Wassell and Balon each had two service aces. Payne had one solo block and two assisted blocks. Balon and Presbrey each had a block assist.

Defensively,
Maddie Shulski had 20, followed by Wassell with 15 and
Mariana Silva and Balon with 10 apiece.
