COD went 0-4 in matches against Eastfield College, Blinn College, Odessa College and Laredo College at the Blinn Invitational.
 
"We played Division I competition all weekend long,'' Chaps coach Tolis Koskinaris. "We'll take the experience from this weekend, along with a very rigorous nonconference schedule, and know that what we have faced will help us in our Region 4 schedule the rest of the regular season.''
 
Against Eastfield, Brili Presbrey led with seven kills and Natalie Payne six. Presbrey had seven kills, while Payne added four kills and three service aces against Blinn.
 
Mikayla Wassell led the Chaps with nine kills against Odessa.
 
Defensively, Halyn Balon led with 13 digs against Eastfield, followed by Maddie Shulski (11) and Wassell (10). Against Blinn, Shulski led with seven. And against Odessa, Mariana Silva led with six.
 
Match stats versus Laredo were not available.
 
The Chaps return to action Tuesday night at Harper.
