CARBONDALE (Sept. 7, 2019) — College of DuPage earned its first win of the year with a resounding 47-7 pounding of Arkansas Baptist in a game played at Southern Illinois on Saturday.

The Chaps (1-1 overall) earned 16 points off turnovers and the Chaparrals' defense had five interceptions.
Alaric Wooten had three INTs with a TD. Defensive back Cam Harrell had a pick-six for 98 yards.
Foster's team dominated with its ground game, rushing for 357 yards on 35 carries — an average of 10.2 yards a carry. Six different Chaps had gains of at least 10 yards with
Lavale Hill leading the way on a 45-yard gain.
Isaiah Nwokenkwo was next with a 43-yard scamper.
Darrell Smith gained 70 yards on eight carriesw
Nwokenkwo led in rushing with 100 yards on six carries. Hill gained 85 yards on five attempts.
Quarterback
Benjamin Little Jr. threw for 43 yards with two TDs and one INT, and rushed for 60 yards on seven attempts. He was 4 of 10 passing.
Tom Vatter was 6 of 7 for 51 yards.
Wide receiver
Jordan Robertson had seven receptions for 56 yards and
Luke Junkroski had two receptions for 36 yards.
Punter
Sergio Listo averaged 39.9 yards in his five punts — three inside the 20.
