Chaps close regular season

Alex Rucinski and Jaylyn Grant each scored 10 points as the Chaps closed their regular season Saturday in a 94-29 loss to visiting Rock Valley College.

The Golden Eagles opened the game on a 22-0 run and were never threatened.

Lauren Day scored six points and Alyssa Pham three.

The Chaps will play Tuesday night in the opening round of the Region IV, Division 3 tournament. Their opponent is unknown as of 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
