After Blount and Brown connected for a Chaps' 14-3 lead, Trieb made the defensive play of the game. He forced Hocking QB Tommy Colbert to scramble on an option play and on a bad pitch, Trieb gathered the ball and ran it in for a 21-3 lead in the final quarter.
