Freshman Drew Gaston paced the Chaparrals with 20 points with four rebounds in their 76-67 loss at Elgin in Region 4 men's basketball Tuesday night.
 
The Chaps bring their 2-3 overall record into Friday night's game at Kishwaukee. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
 
Gaston hit 5-of-13 from the field and drained 9-of-10 free throws. He is averaging 19.2 points per game this season.
 
Donnell Fraley added 13 points and Abram Ross 10. Amaris Hughes was next with eight.
