Gaston, Ross lead Chaps in loss

Drew Gaston scored 29 points and Abram Ross followed with 27, but it wasn't enough in the Chaparrals' 93-67 loss at Prairie State in Region 4 men's basketball Tuesday night.
 
Gaston hit 12 of 18 from the floor, while Ross was 13 of 22 for the Chaps, now 2-4 overall. The other six Chaps combined to shoot 3 of 23.
 
The Chaps next face Malcolm X on the road on Tuesday night.
