The Chaps fired their best offensive output of the season, thanks to Drew Gaston's 37 points in their 88-82 victory at Malcolm X College on Tuesday night in Region 4 men's play.
 
Coach William Anderson's squad shot 49.2 percent from the floor on 29 of 59 shooting. Gaston hit 10 of 15 from the field and was 17-of-20 from the free throw line.
 
Donnell Fraley scored 16 points. (6 of 14 FGs) and Abram Ross reached double figures with 10.
 
The Chaps, now 3-4 overall, return home Tuesday night when they take on College of Lake County. Tip off is 7 p.m.
