Berkompas, Allen guide Chaps

Mykah Berkompas and Katlyn Allen each scored 13 points in the Chaps' 81-49 loss at Malcolm X College in Region 4 play Tuesday night.
 
The Chaps, now 1-5 overall, outscored the Hawks 16-12 in the second quarter and trailed 37-28 at the break.
 
Nya Jones and Marquita Gardner each scored eight, followed by Makenna Brown with five and Natali Cabrera two.
 
The Chaps play host to College of Lake County on Tuesday.  Tipoff is 5 p.m.
