Bobby Wilson earned career victory No. 50, and then added on to another half-century mark as the Chaparrals swept Sauk Valley on Sunday, winning 9-5 and 13-2 in five innings.
 
The victories pushed the Chaps above the .500 level to 18-17 overall. They will play visiting Rock Valley on Monday, beginning at 1 p.m.
 
Game 1: Chaps 9, Sauk Valley 5
Mike Wagner hit a first-inning home run and 
Zion Baker clubbed a three-run double in the fifth in the Chaps' victory. Starter LHP 
Frankie Klemm struck out six and allowed just two hits for the victory. Leading 5-2 entering their half of the fifth, the Chaps struck with four runs on only one hit. 
Cam Bailey drove in two runs, and Baker was the only Chap with a multiple-hit game. 
Giovanni Lopez doubled for the Chaps.
 
Game 2: Chaps 13, Sauk Valley 2 5 innings
Dan Gusel's two-run home run in the fifth gave the Chaps a walk-off victory due to the 10-run rule. 
Jack Oberli doubled and triple and drove in three runs, and 
Luke Miller supplied a sac fly and a bases-loaded walk for two RBI. Starter 
Mike Sullivan struck out five before leaving with one out in the fifth.
