The Chaparrals were dealt a tough Tuesday afternoon at the hands of the visiting Madison College WolfPack, losing 14-4 and 19-12 in N4C and Region 4 softball at Sark Park.

The Chaps, now 14-10 overall and 5-3 in the N4C, are at Kankakee College on Wednesday.

Game 1: Madison 14, Chaps 4 5 innings
Kelsey Warren and
Amber Dasenbrock each had two hits and Warren drove in two runs in a game that was called after five innings.
Ashley Eiermann and
Nicole Brace each collected a double.

Game 2: Madison 19, Chaps 12 5 innings
The Chaps, who trailed 19-5 through four innings, mounted a seven-run rally in the fifth in a game that was shortened due to darkness. In the fifth, the Chaps totaled seven hits and were aided by two Madison errors. Eiermann had a two-run double and Dasenbrock followed with an RBI triple to center. Eiermann had three hits and Dasenbrock added a double and drove in three runs.
Vincenza Zaccaro doubled.
