Dan Gusel, who led off the inning with a walk. Gusel moved to second on a sac bunt from
Zion Baker, and then reached third on
Cliff Vickers' single to short.

In the ninth, Oberl led off with a single to left, and then stole second. After
Nick Fushi walked,
Giovanni Lopez loaded the bases with no outs on a bunt.

Bobby Wilson's team received solid pitching from starter
Seth Borden, and relievers
Nick Stacey and
Adam Scheid. Borden threw five innings and gave up only two hits and one earned run with three strikeouts and three walks. Stacey threw an inning and faced the minimum three batters. Scheid earned the win with three innings of two-hit relief.
