Garcia scored a pair of goals as the host Chaparrals defeated Black Hawk College 3-1 in Region 4 women's soccer.

"My teammates passed the ball so well today,'' Garcia said. "We had great movement throughout. I was just fortunate to be on the receiving end.

Garcia gave the Chaps the 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal in the 11

th minute.

Leading 2-1 at halftime, COD dominated play in the second half and iced the game on Garcia's goal in the 79
th minute.

"We were much better working with the ball this afternoon,'' head coach
Zac Ludwig said. Â "The difference was we controlled the ball and played much more consistent.''
