No. 2 College of DuPage had its in-state unbeaten streak come to an end Thursday night in the Chaps' 3-2 loss at Harper in Region IV volleyball.

The Chaps, now 24-3 overall, next plays Saturday night when they host College of Lake County. First serve is 6 p.m.

The five-set match (25-12, 22-25, 22-25, 25-23, 12-15) saw COD take control in the early going, firing off a .241 attack percentage (11 kills/4 errors/29 attacks) for the decisive victory. After dropping the next two sets, the Chaps bounced back in the fourth. A back-and-forth set came to an end in a 25-23 win.

Alyssa Fountain led in kills with 19, along with three service aces. She also led in digs (14).

Chloey Myers was next 16 kills and a block assist with 11 digs.

Olivia Witek totaled 10 points with six kills and four solo blocks.
