In the fifth, COD trailed 11-8 and after a Chaps' timeout, they knotted the set at 12-12 and worked their way to match point at 14-13.
Â
CLC earned a point, before the Chaps secured a sideout and went on to the win.
Â
Myers and
Abigail Alonzo each had three service aces and
Ashley Bylsma worked her way through 35 assists.
Â
"Very proud of our way to persevere our way through it tonight,'' Chaps head coach
Tolis Koskinaris said. "We depended upon our upperclassmen and never got too down on ourselves. That's the sign of a veteran team. We've played a difficult schedule and we've learned a lot about ourselves.''
Â
