No. 4 College of DuPage closed its home portion of the 2022 schedule, defeating Milwaukee Area TC 3-0 on Sophomore Night Tuesday.
 
The Chaps, who improved to 26-3 overall, are at No. 14 Joliet on Thursday and finish the regular season Saturday at Highland.
 
The one-sided 25-14, 25-11, 25-19 victory featured just nine attack errors for COD. It hit a collective .298 attack percentage on 34 kills in 84 attacks.
 
Chloey Myers led in kills with 11 (11-1-24) and Alyssa Fountain followed with nine. Olivia Witek added seven.
 
Ashley Bylsma set up 24 sets, while Jaidyn Tan and Fountain each had four service aces.
 
The Chaps totaled 48 digs with Cyd Martinez's 11 leading the way.

Top-15 rankings
COD dropped to No. 4 in the NJCAA Division III volleyball rankings, for Oct. 17 after losing its first Region IV match of the season last week, a 3-2 loss at Harper.
 
Butler (Pa.) is the top-ranked program at 16-2 overall. The remainder of the top 10 includes: 2. Owens, 3. Harrisburg Area, 4. Chaparrals, 5. Dallas-Brookhaven, 6. Century, 7. Minnesota State, 8. Central Lakes, 9. Rochester, and 10. Raritan Valley.
