Matt Elliott scored 20 points and brought down 10 rebounds and teammate Drew Gaston added a team-high 24 points in the Chaps' 86-78 loss at Prairie State in Region 4 play Thursday night.
 
The Chaps, now 5-6 overall, are at Lake County Tuesday night.
 
The host Pioneers gained control in the second half after going into halftime tied at 34. They outscored the Chaps, 52-44 in the final 20 minutes.
 
Finn Walsh scored 12 points in 12 minutes of play off the bench.
