COD nearly overcame its first-half double-digit deficit, but fell short 72-65 against Milwaukee Area TC in Region 4 women's play Saturday afternoon.
 
Mykah Berkompas led four Chaps in double figures with 15 points as COD fell to 3-14 overall heading into Tuesday's regular-season finale at home against Harper.
 
Milwaukee jumped to a 20-10 first-quarter lead, and though the Chaps never led, they fought back in the second half and got to within four points of the lead on three occasions.
