The second night of a back-to-back set against Rock Valley resulted in an 80-56 Chaps' loss in Region 4 basketball Friday night at the PEC Arena.
 
Freshman Amaris Hughes was the only Chap in double figures with 12 points as COD dropped to 6-13.
 
The Golden Eagles, who were coming off Thursday night's 78-61 victory over the Chaps, jumped out to a 9-0 lead and built a lead as large as 22 points in the opening half.
 
The Chaps never got closer than 19 points of the lead in the final half.
 
Kaashif Malik scored nine points and both Drew Gaston and Joe Bell scored seven.
 
The Chaps are home Tuesday night against Joliet for a 7 p.m. start.
