The Chaparrals brought their four-game losing streak to an end in impressive fashion, sweeping host Milwaukee Area TC 9-6 and 18-8 in N4C and Region 4 softball Tuesday afternoon in Mequon, Wis.

COD, now 7-11 and 1-3 N4C, is off until Tuesday when it plays host to Joliet Junior College.

Game 1: Chaps 9, Stormers 6
- COD manufactured two four-run innings — in the second and fifth to take command
- In the second, COD scored its four runs on three hits — Kelsey Warren hit a two-out double that drove in Gianna Maida (single) and Paige Jahaske followed with an RBI-single
- Jahaske and Elena Stevenson later scored on an infield error
- In the fifth, the Chaps added four runs on four hits and two errors — Elena Stevenson's three-run triple keyed the inning
- Stevenson helped herself on the mound, striking out five in seven innings
- Warren and Jahaske each had three hits

Game 2: Chaps 18, Stormers 8 6 innings
- COD poured on the offense, scoring six runs in the third, and five each in the final two innings
- Kayla Smiley led with a 4-for-4 effort and drove in four runs … Raquel Procopio added a three-run homer in the sixth
- Warren had two doubles and drove in three runs
- Jahaske, Procopio, and Vincenza Zaccaro each had two hits
- Maida (triple) and Stevenson (double) had the other extra-base hits
