Game 2: Joliet 11, Chaparrals 8 8 innings
The Chaps took command early, leading 6-1 after two innings, but the Wolves got back with a game-tying run in the seventh to force extras. They added three in the eighth for the win. In the first,
Amber Dasenbrock keyed the inning with a two-run double and in the second, she added a run-scoring single. After Joliet scored six runs in the third and led 7-6, COD scored twice in the fourth — thanks to Dasenbrock's two-run triple. Dasenbrock, Warren and Baker each had three hits as COD totaled 15 for the game.
