The Chaps opened play with a 3-0 win over Finger Lakes, then withstood Tech in a 3-2 victory.

COD came out on fire, hitting .367 with 37 kills in 79 attacks. The Chaps were led by their big three hitters —
Alyssa Fountain (12 kills),
Chloey Myers (10) and
Olivia Witek (10 kills, .556 attack percentage) in a 25-10, 25-11, 25-16 victory.
Setter Peyton Litney dealt 32 assists, while
Cyd Martinez threw four service aces. Myers and Fountain combined for 24 digs.

As they did in their earlier match, the big three of Fountain (17), Myers (16) and Witek (12) dominated on the attack. Jaidyn Tan served seven aces, and Myers and Witek each totaled three blocks in the 25-22, 20-25, 25-13, 23-25, 15-10 victory.
