Head Coach Tolis Koskinaris:
"There's no doubt we've had an excellent start. We had a special effort from our sophomores and
Cyd Martinez this weekend. They are carrying a big part of the load and playing very clutch volleyball. They seem to know when they're getting pressed and they're able to find another gear. We know there will be some spots this year where things won't be working. We'll learn from it. But, yes, going unbeaten through the first two weeks of the season and defeating top-ranked teams is special. We have a lot of kids who might be playing their last year of volleyball and they have a mutual goal and that's to win and not lose.
Akira Lebron stepped up and played very well for us today. Her play takes pressure off the other from scoring points. And our serve-and-pass game has been dynamic.''
