th-ranked Madison College in Region 4 volleyball Tuesday night.

The Chaps take their 13-0 record into their annual Texas trip this week, playing Thursday night at always-difficult Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas, before tourney play begins Friday, hosted by Blinn.

Alyssa Fountain and
Chloey Myers each had 13 kills and
Olivia Witek added nine in COD's 26-24, 25-17, 25-8 victory over the WolfPack.

After hitting .190 in the opening set and overcoming 11 attack errors, the Chaps totaled just five attack errors over the final two sets.

The Chaps served well, compiling nine service aces, led by Fountain's three and Cydney Martinez and Myers, who each had two.

Payton Litney dealt 36 on 40 total kills, and Martinez and Myers were tops defensively, with 15 and 10 digs, respectively.

Ava Garcia led in blocks with six, followed by Myers (five) and Witek (four).
Life at the top
COD maintained its top spot in this week's NJCAA top-15 poll for Week 3 of 2022.
The Chaps earned all 90 points and six first-place votes. They are followed by: 2. Butler County, 3. Rochester, 4. Central Lakes, 5. Owens, 6. Harrisburg Area, 7. Minnesota State, 8. Century, 9.
