Megan Piper earned a victory at No. 4 singles Tuesday in the Chaps' match against the Elmhurst JV in women's tennis.

COD plays host to College of Lake County on Sept. 29. First serve is 3 p.m.

Megan's match at No. 4 singles was incredibly fun to watch. Both women were scrambling from the baseline with long rallies on a difficult day with  soaring heat. Ash has been working on her volleys/and net play very enthusiastically during practices and she ended  long points with deftly placed volleys and smashes away from her big serving opponent. At No. 2 singles, Tyler is making progress with results that's due to her hard work. At No. 1, and 3 singles, Emily and Sasha are getting games on the scoreboard with competitive rallies. We're making progress and getting better.''
