Chaps remain No. 1
Sunday's loss at Iowa Central did not impact much NJCAA D3 football poll voters, who ranked the Chaparrals No. 1 again in the Week #5 Sept. 26 poll.
The Chaps (4-1) received 19 points and three 1st-place votes to retain the top spot. Unbeaten at 5-0 Minnesota State (13 points, 1 1st place vote), which defeated Nassau CC on Saturday in Fergus Falls, Minn., is ranked second, followed by North Dakota State College of Science (3-1 overall, 10 points), Nassau (2-3 record, 8 points) and Rochester (3-2 record, 4 points).
