Katlyn Allen capped a phenomenal week, earning her third straight double-double Saturday with 15 points and 18 rebounds as the Chaparrals pushed their winning streak to four games in a 69-56 victory over host Wilbur Wright in Region 4 women's play.
 
The Chaps take their 7-11 overall record into Tuesday night's game at Rock Valley. They'll remain on the road this week with games at Joliet (Thursday) and Olive-Harvey (Saturday).
 
COD grabbed control early, building a double-digit lead and leading 21-10 after the opening quarter.
 
All five starters scored in double figures: Sierra Gibson (19), Alyssa Havard (14), Mykah Berkompas (11) and Korianna Wilson (10).
