No. 12 College of DuPage split its season series over Waubonsee College, taking a 3-1 victory in Region 4 volleyball Tuesday night.
 
The victory gives the Chaps their third 20-win season as they now prepare for a doubleheader at home Saturday. COD (20-13 overall) faces Madison at 10 a.m. and wraps up the day with a 2p.m. match against Rock Valley.
 
COD earned a 25-20, 25-14, 19-25, 25-20 victory over the Chiefs with 38 kills, 18 errors in 12 0 attacks. Freshman Melissa Alvarez was the only Chap in double figures in kills with 12.
 
Sophomore setter Ashley Bylsma dealt 35 assists on the 38 kills. Cyd Martinez and Alvarez each had four service aces, and on the block, COD had 14 block assists.
 
Makayla Robinson, Grace Beacom each had four block assists and teammate Josephine Becker had three. Alvarez factored with two block assists.
