Tylon Toliver scored a team-high 20 points, including a perfect 8-of-8 free throws and Quentin Schaffer added 12, but a poor second half hurt the Chaps in their 66-59 loss at home to Richard Daley on Thursday in Region 4 men's basketball.
 
COD led at halftime (34-31), but its 29 turnovers for the game were too many to overcome against the Bulldogs.
 
The Chaps shot 34.5 percent from the field on 19-of-55 shooting. They hit just one 3-pointer in 11 attempts.
 
Jayden Dean had nine points off the bench and John Gray was next with eight.

John Gray led COD with 19 points and Tylon Toliver added 17 in Saturday's 96-70 loss at Waubonsee in Region 4 men's basketball Saturday.
 
Braylon Meredith earned his first double-double of the season with 13 points and a team-high 12 rebounds for COD, now 1-2 overall.
 
The Chaps fell behind early as the Chiefs held a 51-30 halftime lead.
 
Both Gray and Toliver scored three 3-points.
 
COD plays host to Benedictine JV on Thursday.
