The No. 15 Chaparrals powered through with 18 hits and 19 runs in Saturday's opener and that set the tone for a doubleheader sweep against N4C foe Harper College at COD.

The Chaps (17-6, 2-0 N4C) play host to Triton College on Tuesday with first pitch at 3 p.m.

Game 1: Chaps 19, Harper 2
- Leading 11-2, COD sent 12 to the plate and scored nine runs in the game called due to the 10-run rule in the sixth
- Aden Aukland clubbed a two-run HR in the fourth and had an RBI single in the first and another RBI on a ground-out in the third
- David Marshall had a four-RBI game, going 4-for-4 with four singles
- Also earning multiple-hit games were: A.J. Taylor, Kyle Fenner, Jason Cousineau and Jake Pauley
- RHP Justin Lane went the distance, giving up six runs, two runs (both earned) and striking out five
Game 2: Chaps 8, Harper 6
- Marshall's two-run double in the fourth led a three-run, four-hit innng and COD led 6-2
- Kyle Fenner and Josh Schuberth each had a sac fly in the fifth and sixth inning, respectively, to give COD the lead for good
- Schuberth connected on a solo HR in the second
- Shane Baumgarten led with a 3-for-4 game
- Marshall, Joe Cosenza, and Julian Budziszewski each had two-hit games
- RHP Brady Friend earned the victory in three innings of relief of starter Michael Betancourt. Friend gave up four hits and allowed just two runs
- Ryne Willard earned the save, facing just four batters in the seventh

Oakton 6, Chaparrals 3
No. 15 College of DuPage built a 3-2 lead late in its game against Oakton, but the Owls broke through with a four-run eighth and earned a 6-3 win at Schaumburg's Wintrust Field on Friday.
