No. 6 College of DuPage bounced back in the victory column with a one-sided 3-1 victory at South Suburban on Wednesday night.

Melissa Alvarez led the Chaps, now 7-6 overall, with 10 kills and 17 points in COD's 25-15, 25-21, 18-25, 25-16 victory. She had two solo blocks with two assisted blocks as the Chaps dominated with a team total of 6 solos and 12 assisted knock-downs.

Amanda Leibrock followed with nine kills and
Josephine Becker added six.

Sophomore setter
Ashley Bylsma led with 29 of COD's 32 assists.

The Chaps again featured a dominant serve, with 14 aces on the night.
Jaidyn Tan led with five, Alvarez four and
Cyd Martinez three.
Abigail Alonzo added two aces.

COD is off for the Labor Day weekend and resumes play Sept. 8 when it plays host to Kishwaukee.
