The Chaps hit a season-high .293 (30 kills/8 errors/75 attacks) in a 3-0 win over Triton in a match played at Milwaukee Area TC on Saturday.

COD earned its 25-10, 25-13, 25-11 victory in part to 13 services aces, led by
Cyd Martinez's seven.
Jaidyn Tan added three and
Jayde Grant,
Rory Geroux and
Alyssa Schillaci each had one.

Melissa Alvarez and
Josephine Becker each had six kills.
Ashley Bylsma led in assists with 13 and Martinez had 13 digs.

COD then defeated host Milwaukee Area TC 3-2 (25-17, 25-17, 21-25, 15-25, 15-13).
Amanda Leibrock and Alvarez each had 11 kills as COD totaled 48 kills in the five-set match. Bylsma dealt 35 assist, and Martinez led in aces with five and Tan four.

The Chaps had 72 digs — Bylsma 17, Martinez 17, Alvarez 11 and
Abigail Alonzo 10.

Defensively, Becker had four blocks assists with one solo block. Both
Jillian Ross and Alvarez had three block assists.

Chaps ranked No. 6
COD moved two places to No. 6 in the NJCAA D3 rankings for Sept. 11. The Chaps (10-6 overall) face two top-10 teams in D3 and one top 10 D1 program at this week's Blinn Invite in Brenham, Texas.

The Chaps face host Blinn, ranked No. 9 in D1 on Friday, and then face No. 2-ranked and unbeaten Dallas-Eastfield and No. 7 Dallas-Brookhave on Saturday.
