No. 9 College of DuPage earned a 3-0 win over visiting Harper with control throughout in Region 4 volleyball Thursday night.
 
COD, now 14-10 overall, is off until making a trip to the Land of 10,000 Lakes when they face three of the top D3 programs in the NJCAA.
 
The Chaps take on Minnesota State on Sept. 29 in Fergus Falls, Minn., then play Century and host St. Cloud the following afternoon.
 
Against the Hawks, COD held the edge from beginning to end in a 25-21, 25-22, 25-22 victory. It marks the second victory over the Hawks this season.
 
The teams meet again Oct. 5 in Palatine.
 
Melissa Alvarez led in kills with 11 and Amanda Leibrock nine as COD hit .198 (38 kills/15 errors/116 attacks). Jadye Grant and Abigail Alonzo each had two aces and Josephine Becker led in blocks with five block assists.
 
Ashley Bylsma had 26 assists at setter. Cyd Martinez and Bylsma each had 14 digs.
