COD defeated Olive-Harvey 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-21) in a Region 4 match, and then lost against Kalamazoo Valley (Mich.) 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 27-25).

The Chaps (16-11, 12-2 Region 4, 5-0 Region 4, D3) will be in action four times in four days this week, playing at Kankakee on Tuesday, home against Highland Thursday and matches Friday in Rockford (vs. Rock Valley and Madison).

The Chaps controlled the match from the outset, totaling 34 kills in the straight-set victory.
Josephine Becker led in kills with 13 and totaled 14.5 points for the match, thanks to her three block assists.
