Sophomore Josephine Becker dominated at the net Tuesday night, throwing down 19 kills as visiting College of DuPage routed Joliet Junior College 3-1 in NJCAA Region 4 volleyball.
 
The Chaps picked up their fourth straight victory and improved to 14-9 overall, 10-1 in Region 4, and 5-0 against Region 4 D3 programs with their 25-15, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21 victory.
 
COD hit .142 on the night with 46 kills and held the Wolves to just .018 at the net (24 kills, 22 errors, 113 attacks).
 
Jayde Grant led in service aces with three as COD totaled 10. Defensively, libero Francesca Brandonisio led in digs with 18, while Christina Savaglio added 16 and Ava Diaz 10.
 
COD also took advantage of JJC's miscues on serve-receive, earning 20 points in the four-set match.
 
The Chaps return to PEC Arena on Thursday, taking on Waubonsee in the series finale. COD defeated the Chiefs 3-0 on Sept. 12.
