COD dropped a pair of Region 4 matches Friday afternoon, losing 3-1 to Madison and 3-0 to host Rock Valley in women's volleyball.
 
The Chaps take their records of 17-14 (overall), 13-5 (Region 4) and 5-0 (Region 4 D3) into Tuesday night's home match against Joliet. First serve is 6 p.m.

The two teams will meet Oct 30 at COD for the Region 4 title. That match also begins at 6 p.m.
 
Madison 3, Chaparrals 1 (25-21, 15-25, 25-22, 25-14)
Sophomore Josephine Becker compiled 12 of COD's 32 kills in the four-set loss to the Wolfpack. Caytlin Johns followed with nine kills. Setter Alyza Grubich led in sets with 17 and Ava Diaz had 10. COD served nine aces with Skylar Huffman, Camila Fundora, Francesca Brandonisio and Rory Geroux all leading with two each. Brandonisio led in digs with 13 and Fundora 10. Jillian Ross led in blocks with one solo and two assisted.
 
Rock Valley 3, Chaparrals 0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-16)
Becker totaled four kills and Alexandra Hornbogen added three in the three-set loss. All three of COD's service aces belonged Brandonisio, while Becker added three block assists.
