Chaparrals 89, Olivet Nazarene JV 74

Sophomore Braylen Meredith poured in 26 points and freshman guard Adyn McGinley dished 11 assists as visiting College of DuPage earned an 89-74 win over the Olivet Nazarene JV squad in men's basketball Monday night.
 
COD, which won its third straight game, improved to 6-2 overall. The Chaps take on College of Lake County on Tuesday at home.
 
Meredith hit 9 of 13 shots, grabbed seven rebounds with two steals. Greg Strong added 18 points (three 3s), Terence Spencer scored 15 points of the bench with five rebounds, and Ramone Enis added 13 points, five rebounds and three assists.
 
McGinley's 11 assists are a season best. Christian Marshall added six assists as COD totaled 23 for the game.
