Willie Feagin rushed for two touchdowns on as many attempts and quarterback
Justin Bland threw for 253 yards and two TDs as No. 1 College of DuPage defeated host Hocking 49-12 in NJCAA football Saturday afternoon in Nelsonville, Ohio.

The Chaps won their 13
th straight game against a fellow Division III program and improved to 2-0 overall. COD is at Rochester Community and Technical College on Saturday in a rematch of last year's national championship game won by the Chaps at COD.

Both of Feagin's TDs were on motion plays, one for 29 yards and the other for 27.

Bland connected on 15 of 19 passes for 253 yards. He connected on one TD to WR
Clayton Bone, and the other on a 68-yard TD to running back
Jamareon Dale.

Dale had just the one reception, and also rushed for 41 yards on seven carries and one TD.

COD finished with 504 yards of total offense — 278 through the air and 226 rushing yards on 39 attempts, an average of 5.8 yards per carry.

COD's defense was a strength all game long, totaling eight sacks for 51 yards. All-American linebacker
Kellon King led in tackles with eight (six solo), along with one sack.

Casey Bending had five solo tackles, 1 ½ sacks and two tackles for loss. He also had one pass breakup.

COD has not lost to a D3 team since losing to Nassau Community College, 17-15 on Oct. 16, 2021. The Chaps then defeated the Lions in the inaugural D3 national championship and have now stretched their consecutive streak of NJCAA titles to three.
