The College of DuPage women's volleyball team traveled to River Grove, Ill., to take on the Trojans of Triton College on Oct. 22. The Chaps improved their record to 21-11, defeating the Trojans in four sets, 3-1. (25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 25-13). 
Claire Rambasek led DuPage with 10 kills, while 
Megan Daca and 
Isabella Furmanski each recorded eight. Daca ranks third among Region IV competitors with an impressive .351 hitting percentage on the season. 
Settters 
Jaime Volz (18 assists), 
Ava Diaz (12 assists) and 
Alyza Grubich (10 assists) all contributed in the passing game for the Chaps. Plenty of production went around in the service ace category as well. Diaz, Rambasek, 
Frankie Brandonisio, Volz, 
Jamie Loftus and Daca each tallied one. Brandonisio enters the final week of the regular season as the region's leader in service aces per set at 0.80. 
Defensively, Brandonisio led the way for the Chaps with 22 digs. Furmanski, Daca and 
Sami Hornbogen each recorded two block assists. 
The Chaps are right back in action on Oct. 23 to host the Harper College Hawks for a 6 p.m. start. Sophomore Chaps will be recognized before the first serve.
