The fifth-ranked College of DuPage Women's Volleyball team hosted Region 4 opponents, Kishwaukee College and Prairie State College, in a tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 25 inside PEC Arena. The Chaparrals (23-12) almost never trailed, sweeping the Kougars (25-5, 25-9, 25-19) and Pioneers (25-14, 25-18, 25-20) in six-straight sets. 
Chaps 3, Kishwaukee 0
Hitting a blistering .347 on the match as a program, the Chaps coasted to a sweep against the Kougars (3-23).
Chloe Wickham and 
Alexandra Hornbogen led the way with five kills apiece while 
Alyza Grubich spread the wealth with 14 of the team's total 36 assists. 
Frankie Brandonisio and 
Claire Rambasek each had three service aces while five other Chaps notched at least one on the match.
Rambasek - along with 
Jamie Loftus and 
Jaime Volz - led the defensive effort with a combined 26 digs between the trio; 
Ella Petruczenko logged a solo block in the affair as well. 
Chaps 3, Prairie State 0
Ending the triangular with a match against the Pioneers, who had just swept the Kougars themselves, the Chaps stayed hot for a second 3-0 victory on the day. 
While not as strong of a hitting performance (.228), 
Claire Rambasek secured a dozen kills; 
Megan Daca and 
Samantha Hornbogen netted six more kills each. 
Frankie Brandonisio was all over the court with 14 digs to pair with four aces; Daca's four block assists led the Chaps' front wall, aided by 
Ella Petruczenko and 
Alexandra Hornbogen. 
COD ends the regular season with 23 wins, including 17 sweeps. PEC Arena will host the Region 4 Championship on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. when the Chaparrals will take on the winner of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County and Joliet. DuPage swept Rock County back on Sept. 6 and is undefeated in three matches against the rival Wolves this year.
