The College of DuPage men's basketball team returned home to Glen Ellyn on Nov. 13 to take on Illinois Valley Community College, falling 87-84. 

After an even first half that saw DuPage take a 41-40 lead into the break, Illinois Valley went on a run to build a 62-45 advantage with just over 10 minutes remaining. The Chaps surged late and cut the deficit to one point with just over a minute left, but the Eagles matched them shot for shot, knocking down clutch 3-pointers and converting free throws to seal a three-point win. 

Ethan Howard led DuPage with 21 points. JJ Hernandez added 13, and Adyn McGinley contributed 12 to spark the Chaps offensively. 

DuPage will have the weekend to regroup before hosting Trinity Christian College on Nov. 17 at the PEC Arena in Glen Ellyn.
