Chaps destroy Judson JV, 100-52

COD played its final non-region game of the regular season Monday night, leaving no doubt in a one-sided 100-52 victory over the host Judson JV in men's basketball.

Freshman Terence Spencer scored a career-high 33 points with eight rebounds and four assists and three others scored in double figures.

The Chaps (18-8, 11-8 Region 4) play at South Suburban on Thursday and are at Madison on Saturday in a pair of key regional contests.

Sophomore Ben Zielinski scored 15 points, all on 3-pointers, with Greg Strong adding 14 and Charles Farrell 12.

COD led at halftime 48-13 and extended the lead throughout the second half.

Sound team play keyed the Chaps' efforts, who had 25 assists on 35 field goals. Eight of the nine Chaps who played earned multiple assists with freshman guard Adyn McGinley dishing out five, and Farrell, Spencer, and Ramone Enis each with four.

Cameron Chandler led COD in rebounds with 12 in his 24 minutes of play.
