The 2025 Chaps volleyball season marks the third year of the program's existence.
 
It's quite evident that after 14 matches, coach Tolis Koskinaris' program is on to something big.
 
The Chaps lost just four sets while improving to 14-0 overall after this past weekend while playing host to the COD Invitational.
 
COD defeated all three of its like-minded junior college programs in Monroe-New Rochelle, Region 4 foe Bryant and Stratton and two-time NJCAA invitational champion Finger Lakes. The Chaps also defeated four-year junior varsity programs Judson and Concordia, Wis.
 
Koskinaris said now that the team has reached the midpoint of its season, they look to stay fresh with the majority of March matches against four-year schools.
 
"Our team was extremely focused on the weekend,'' he said. "We received great efforts from a lot of people. That ability really showcases our depth and keeps people engaged. We're going to work on staying healthy now that we're approaching March. We've done a very good job of picking each other up in each match.  At the point, we want to get the reps in and keep our record strong going into the invitational.''
 
The Chaps return to play Tuesday night at home against St. Xavier. First serve is 6 p.m.
 
NOTE: The NJCAA Invitational is scheduled for April 4-6 in Canandiagua, N.Y., and hosted by Finger Lakes Community College.
