The Chaparrals led from beginning to end and used an efficient offense with sound defense in a 77-67 win over visiting Kishwaukee in Region 4 play Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore guard
Greg Strong led with 19 points and three others scored in double figures as the Chaps improved to 16-7 overall and 10-7 Region 4.

Crisp team play, emblematic with 21 assists on 26 field goals kept the Chaps engaged throughout. Both
Adyn McGinley and
Braylen Meredith dealt six assists and
Charles Farrell added four.

 Both Ramon Enis (5 of 6 FGs) and Farrell (5 of 8 FGs) scored 14 points and
Terence Spencer 13 as COD led 35-29 at the break and led by as many as 14 with five minutes left in the contest.

Strong added three steals and
Ben Zielinski had two steals.

Greg Strong led COD with 20 points and

Braylen Meredith each scored 15, but it wasn't enough as the host Wolves defeated the Chaps on Jan. 30.

The Chaps led 45-37 at halftime, but Joliet finished the night outscoring COD 20-4 at the free throw line.
