Unbeaten College of DuPage wasn't deterred in its first Region 4 match of the year, taking out host Bryant and Stratton 3-0 in men's volleyball Tuesday night.
 
The Chaps (7-0 overall) are at Clarke University on Friday, taking on the host school and St. Ambrose in a pair of matches against proven four-year schools.
 
COD's 25-17, 25-15, 25-21 victory over the Bobcats featured a .364 attack percentage in the second set.
 
Freshmen Braeden Zant and Brayden Tejeda each had five kills as COD hit .221 on the night (28 kills/11 errors/77 attacks).
 
Setter Nathan Perez handed out 20 assist and COD totaled seven service aces with Bill Lubas and Adam Janowiak leading the way with two each.
 
Perez led in digs with 11 and Justus Barbel owned COD's only solo blocks with two. He and Kevin Jones each had a block assist.
