Danny Overlin each had nine in college men's volleyball.
The victory extends COD's winning streak to five as the Chaps (19-2 overall) are at Concordia (Wis.) on Tuesday night.
COD grabbed the early lead, taking the first two sets by scores of 25-23 and 29-27 before the host Cougars evened the score with 25-21 and 25-22 victories in the third and fourth set, respectively.
COD fought back and earned the victory with a 15-11 advantage in the fifth. It was a much needed victory as the Cougars' program dealt COD a 3-0 loss on Feb. 25.
The Chaps totaled 45 kills with 23 errors in 128 attacks.
Justus Barbel had six kills in his five sets and
Kevin Jones added four.
Setter
Nathan Perez prepped his teammates with 40 assists.
Perez and Jones each had two services aces as COD totaled only four for the match.
Ben Hoover, Perez and Janowiak led on defense with 10 digs each, and Jones added eight and Barbel six.
On the block, Overlin,
Braeden Zant and Barbel each had a solo, and Tejeda and Overlin each had three block assists. Barbel and Janowiak each had two block assists.
