College of DuPage Women's Volleyball team displayed a valiant effort Thursday night Sept. 11 versus Waubonsee Community College. The Chaps alternated set wins with the Chiefs and fell 15-7 in the 5th. 

Isabella Furmanski and Sami Hornbogen each had 9 kills while Lexie Hornbogen contributed 8 kills. Frankie Brandonisio had a solid showing when serving as she tallied 5 service aces. 

Bradonisio, in her libero role, also provided a steady presence in the back row netting 14 digs. Near the net, it was Megan Daca and Lexie Hornbogen pacing DuPage with 5 block assists.

The Chaps have a week to regroup before a road trip to Brenham, Texas. On Sept. 18 as they will take on Blinn College.
