The College of DuPage women's volleyball team opened the Blinn College Tournament with a loss on Sept. 18 in Brenham, Texas. The squad will continue tournament play through Saturday, Sept. 20. 

The opening match pitted COD against a strong Blinn College team. DuPage dropped the match 25-10, 25-18, 25-15. The Chaps totaled 24 kills in the contest, led by Samantha Hornbogen with 7. Isabella Furmanski added 5 kills and 2 block assists. Megan Daca and Alyza Grubich each added a service ace, and Jaime Volz contributed defensively with 11 digs.

DuPage will look to bounce back as the tournament continues with matches against Dallas College Cedar Valley and North Lake.
