College of DuPage women's volleyball team splits on day two of the Chap Invite.

Heading into day two there was much anticipation of the second game of the day.  Tolis and company first had a match versus University of Wisconsin Whitewater at Rock County first.

It was a one sided affair as the Lady Chaparrals won in convincing fashion with a 3-0 sweep of the Warhawks in a 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

With only six receiving errors on the match, College of DuPage was able to control the match from the very beginning.  Amirah Harrington was able to have a fantastic game finishing perfect with her hitting attack.  Many other players also had wonderful games including; Jamie Loftus, Alyza Grubich, Claire Rambasek, and Ella Petruczenko each played considerable time during all three sets.  With the win, the College of DuPage women's volleyball team continued their hot success and now have a 9-4 record on the year.

The second match of the day featured #1 Dallas College Eastfield versus #4 College of DuPage Chaparrals. 

The anticipation of both teams was high as they knew this would be a barn burner of a match.  College of DuPage had now won four straight matches coming in before they face number one in the country in Eastfield.

Unfortunately, Dallas College Eastfield was too much for the Lady Chaparrals as DuPage lost for the first time at home in straight sets 14-25, 15-25, 15-25.  With the loss the women snap their four game winning streak, and now they have an overall record of 9-5 on the year.
