The College of DuPage men's volleyball team traveled to Palos Heights on Feb. 17 for a rematch against the Trolls of Trinity Christian College.
The Chaps battled in a tightly contested opening set but came up short in a marathon 34-32 decision. DuPage dropped the second set as well before storming back to complete the reverse sweep and remain unbeaten on the season (32-34, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-10).
Lance Mueller led the DuPage attack with 16 kills and added four block assists. Adam Janowiak totaled 14 kills to go along with eight digs. Danny Overlin anchored the defense with 12 digs and contributed four block assists.
Amadeus Morales played a key role in the passing game with 32 assists and led DuPage at the service line with two aces. Nicholas Ockrim paced the back row with 16 digs. Adam Sanchez added five block assists at the net, while Brayden Tejeda chipped in three of his own.
With the win, DuPage improved to 9-0 on the year. The Chaps return to action Feb. 19 as they travel to Judson University in Elgin. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
